Speak for them

The Great Salt Lake is drying up and ten million birds are at risk.

The lake has been declining for decades, but this summer it reached a tipping point, imperiling the single most important food source for migratory birds in the American West. I created this video from still photos I have taken over the past 1.5 years at the Great Salt Lake and surrounding wetlands to highlight the bird life we stand to lose if we don’t take rapid action to change Utah water policy and preserve the lake. If you love birds, consider visiting my TAKE ACTION page for ideas on how you can help save the Great Salt Lake and its ten million birds!
