Shoreline Notes is a three‑volume photo journal exploring Utah’s Great Salt Lake during a period of rapid change and ecological uncertainty. Blending some of my favorite photos with short personal vignettes, the series offers an intimate and atmospheric portrait of our imperiled inland sea.
Volume I: Echo explores Great Salt Lake both as photographic subject and as a mirror through which we see the landscape and ourselves reflected. The photos are organized around themes of reflection, identity, and the surreal. Birds are a recurring motif, representing the wonder, vitality and vulnerability of the lake.
This self published photo zine is 9 × 7 inches, 40 pages, with a laminated soft cover. Pre-order for expected delivery in May, 2026.
Created in collaboration with Grow the Flow. Proceeds from Shoreline Notes support Great Salt Lake conservation efforts.
